Our Director, Rev. Dr. Julián Guzmán is an ordained minister of Church of God-Anderson, IN in Michigan. He has held many leadership positions in the church; including the elected bishop overseeing Hispanic congregations in four states. He was a geologist in the Dominican Republic and a seasoned businessman in the construction and insurance industries in Michigan. He has two Master of Arts degrees in ministry fields from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary/Cornerstone University and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Theological Seminary. He was part of the pilot program for what became the Center, where he revealed his gifts for bringing conversations about practical church matters to a spiritual level. He brings to the Center a passion for collaboration, education, organization, and planning, as well as a deep understanding of the joys and challenges of urban ministry.
