Ukinya Hunter

Ukinya Hunter began her role as Program Coordinator for the Family Leadership Initiative in 2014. Before serving on the team, she was a participant in the FLI program. As a single parent trying to support her daughter, Ukinya knew that a meal would be provided on Sundays after church. She jokingly states that she joined the program because of the food. Her participation opened the door to her current position. Ukinya enjoys having a job where she can pray, learn, and talk about God.

Ukinya attends New Hope Baptist Church. She is one of the first female deacons in the church.
